Senior Accountant | Up to $100K
Location: Greater Tampa Bay Area | Hybrid Schedule | Local Candidates Only

Responsibilities
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial data
- Research and resolve account variances and transactional discrepancies
- Analyze financial information to identify trends, risks, and areas requiring attention
- Assist with journal entries and other month-end close activities
- Support the preparation of financial reports and management reporting packages
- Participate in annual audit preparation and coordinate supporting documentation
- Help maintain compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and support business objectives
- Monitor and improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain organized records and documentation to support financial reporting requirements
- Assist with system, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
- Support special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; advanced degree or professional certification is a plus
- 3–5 years of experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUPs, and data analysis functions
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
- Experience participating in process improvement, automation, or system enhancement projects is a plus
