Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and monitor customer credit risk across a multi-million dollar, diversified portfolio
• Conduct in-depth credit analysis using financial statements, payment trends, and historical data
• Partner with commercial teams to align credit decisions with business strategies
• Lead end-to-end collections processes with a focus on resolving issues professionally and efficiently
• Build strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders including sales, finance, and customer service
• Proactively manage delinquent accounts and develop tailored recovery plans
• Ensure credit files and customer data are maintained with accuracy and compliance
• Prepare detailed AR reports and performance insights for senior management
• Support the implementation of system and process improvements that streamline workflows and improve visibility
• Collaborate on the development and enforcement of internal credit policies and procedures
• Assist with cross-functional projects, including system upgrades or ERP transitions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and evolving best practices in credit management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
• 7+ years of experience in credit and collections within a large-scale business environment
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge handling large datasets
• Advanced MS Office experience including Access
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and persuasively across departments and seniority levels
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities
• Systems-savvy mindset; prior involvement in a financial systems upgrade, or ERP implementation is a plus
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence across teams and functions
• Confident, analytical decision-maker with sound judgment in high-stakes situations
