Senior Pricing Analyst Benefits and Compensation:
- A professional and collaborative working environment (hybrid work arrangement)
- Strong leadership and high visibility
- Highly competitive compensation of $85,000 - $100,000 (commensurate with experience), plus 10% and strong benefits
Senior Pricing Analyst Job Duties:
- Price Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of pricing data, market trends, and competitive landscape to optimize pricing strategies.
- Profitability Analysis: Analyze product/service profitability by evaluating costs, margins, and revenue streams to identify areas for improvement.
- Forecasting: Develop accurate demand forecasts and financial models to support pricing decisions and long-term strategic planning.
- Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies aligned with business objectives and market dynamics.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and track the performance of pricing initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to key stakeholders.
- Recommendations: Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to drive revenue growth, improve margins, and enhance overall profitability.
- Competitive Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor pricing strategies, and market dynamics to inform pricing decisions.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve pricing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communication: Effectively communicate pricing insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management, sales teams, and marketing teams.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analysis and special projects as required to support strategic decision-making and business initiatives.
Senior Pricing Analyst Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, or related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Power BI, Excel, SQL, and/or statistical software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of pricing methodologies, market research techniques, and financial modeling concepts.
