Senior Staff Accountant Benefits and Compensation:

- Highly competitive compensation up to $75-85K
Senior Staff Accountant Job Duties:
- Monitor and reconcile daily banking activity, ensuring accurate cash tracking and timely deposits
- Collaborate with AP/AR team to provide operational support and ensure seamless workflows
- Drive the monthly close process, including journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement generation
- Develop and update key internal reports such as job cost tracking and commission calculations
- Partner with leadership to compile monthly financial summaries and provide context for performance results
- Handle preparation and timely submission of required sales tax filings
- Maintain documentation and compliance for construction-related legal processes, including lien tracking and notices
- Coordinate insurance-related tasks, including renewals, claims, and recordkeeping
- Assist with special projects and produce customized financial analysis as requested
Senior Staff Accountant Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 3–5+ years of professional accounting experience
- Strong understanding of month-end close processes
- Construction industry experience highly preferred
- Growth mindset with a passion for process improvement
- Comfortable working across departments and communicating with all levels of the organization
- Open to learning and being mentored
