- Highly competitive compensation of $70,000 - $75,000, plus annual bonus
Staff Accountant Job Duties:
- Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of all financial information.
- Collaborate with team members to perform day-to-day financial operations including AP, invoicing, GL account coding, and more.
- Complete monthly financial closing processes including bank and account reconciliations, preparation of journal entries, variance analysis, etc.
- Participate in the external audit process including preparation of schedules.
- Identify and recommend process improvements.
- Complete other ad hoc projects as assigned.
Staff Accountant Skills/Qualifications:
- B.S. in Accounting; Advanced degree and/or CPA a plus
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required (must be able to manipulate pivot tables and utilize formulas such as xlookups, sumifs, if statements et al)
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
- Highly detail-oriented
- Good sense of urgency in meeting deadlines
