Temporary Accountant
Job Description
Are you between jobs and want the luxury to be picky in the next permanent role you accept? Keep your skills sharp and the money coming in with this contract assignment until you find the dream job you deserve. Our client is in need of accounting support ASAP. Reference and background check will be required.
Temporary Accountant Benefits and Compensation:
- Outstanding team and leadership

- Highly competitive compensation rate of $23.00 - $28.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
- Eligible for benefits after 90 - days
Temporary Accountant Job Duties:
- Manipulate large volumes of transactions in Excel
- Create journal entries in the ledger
- Assist with daily accounting activities
- Perform GL account and bank reconciliations
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable
Temporary Accountant Skills & Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting a plus
- 2+ years of core accounting experience required
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player mentality
