Tenant Account Representative
Location: Sarasota, FL (100% In-Office)
Compensation: $65K–$90K base (commensurate with experience)
A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage tenant accounts and strengthen relationships across a diverse portfolio. This role offers exposure to both national retailers and local businesses in a collaborative, team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and reconcile tenant payments, including rent, CAM charges, utilities, and taxes.
- Communicate with tenants to resolve billing inquiries and negotiate repayment plans.
- Review lease agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Process credits for overcharges or billing discrepancies.
- Collaborate with leasing, billing, and legal teams on delinquent accounts.
- Participate in weekly rent roll and default meetings; escalate accounts when necessary.
- Prepare bankruptcy proof-of-claim reports and coordinate with legal counsel.
What You Will Bring
- Associate’s degree preferred (not required).
- Minimum 5 years of B2B collections or related accounting experience.
- Commercial real estate experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (basic formulas, sorting, filtering) and Word.
- Experience with AS400 or MRI software is a plus.
- Assertive yet professional communication style.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a large volume of accounts (100–1,000) independently.
