VP of Finance Job Duties:  

• Directs financial and accounting operations, ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP.
• Lead budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational performance metrics.
• Implement and monitor internal controls.
• Ensure accurate inventory and fixed asset management, including costing, and labor and overhead rate determination.
• Support management decision-making with relevant financial data and develop KPI metrics
• Collaborate with key management to develop and implement strategic goals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Monitor organizational performance against strategic and financial plans, implementing corrective actions, as necessary.
• Manage risk, legal activities, insurance procurement, and operational policies to protect company interests.
• Oversee ERP system management.
• Facilitate staff development, training, and annual goal setting, aligning individual performance with company objectives.
• Provide strategic leadership as part of the senior management team, promoting a culture of high performance and professionalism.

VP of Finance Skills/Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA and/or public accounting background required
• Previous leadership managing an accounting/finance team
• Manufacturing (retail, CPG, distribution) experience required
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Impeccable analytical, teamwork, and leadership skills
• Strong planning and organization skills
