Job Description
We have been asked by a dynamic Tampa Bay employer to assist in its creation of a hands-on leader who will build and develop the Finance function for this privately held company. Great local opportunity! This Vice President of Finance will lead a small team of professionals, hold responsibility for all areas of Finance, collaborate with the C-Suite on strategy and more as this company continues its successful growth pattern.
Vice President of Finance Benefits and Compensation:

- Target compensation $200,000 - $250,000, plus bonus opportunities
Vice President of Finance Job Duties:
- Own the full Finance function, directing all aspects including budgeting, forecasting, modeling, FP&A and more
- Extensive cross-functional collaboration and direction
- In partnership with the C-suite, develop ST and LT strategic financial objectives
- Improve and maintain company metrics
- Ensure timely and accurate analysis of budgets, forecasts and trends
- Prepare various financial reports and earnings materials
- Evaluate and negotiate specialized contracts, agreements and RFPs
- Improve systems and tech tools to meet needs of a fast-growing global company
- Devise and ensure effective internal controls are in place
Vice President of Finance Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, advanced degree or certification a plus
- 15+ years of progressive experience including leadership of the entire Finance function
- Experience with a publicly traded company is a plus
- Confident, hands-on leader with outstanding interpersonal skills
- Ability to build strong relationships cross-functionally
- Motivated, deadline-oriented and committed to helping drive dynamic corporate growth
